Axion by Dexia • Banner Concerts
Axion, Dexia’s youth bank wanted to show their 12-25 year-old clients how much they support them. What do these teens and young adults strive for? Nothing other than Rock Star Fame of course. And with the majority of young bands competing for popularity on MySpace, the true stars were left struggling to stand out over all the noise.
Axion decided it was time to give the bands a push and really show their support, so they created the first ever Banner Concerts. Streaming live gigs through the internet, through the space of traditional banners, Axion gave 25 bands exposure and a chance to win a real-world gig at one of Belgium’s biggest concert halls. Viewers could vote for the band they favored most and send them on their way to Ancienne Belgique.

then you have no soul and you are the devil. Just kidding. In all seriousness, whoever thought to film real bands, in live-space, and broadcast it over the internet in teeny tiny banner real estate, is an innovative genius in my book.
